Opinions and mephitic trends

I made a grievous error today: I listened to a conservative talk radio station. For quite some time, as I was in the car a lot all day today.

Besides being repulsed not only by what I heard but the manner in which it was delivered, I was also struck by how similar its speakers are in tone and verbiage to the most popular Catholic editorialists and news sources. It was vile, nasty, and hyperbolic. I only wonder if the conservatives started that mephitic trend and the Catholics picked it up, or if it was vice versa.

People look East.

  1. I guess the same could be said about liberal talk radiostations/personalities. It's just your own bias that blinds you. To each his own. ;)
